Lemons are not just for lemonade

Did you know lemons can be used for other things besides lemonade?

Lemons are good for cleaning, stain remover, degreaser, and deodorizer.


Shine chrome faucets with a lemon and salt. Cut lemon in half and put salt on lemon scrub faucet.


Stains on countertops driving you crazy? Put some lemon juice on stain and let sit for a few minutes. Scrub with baking soda and watch disappear. Don't leave on too long remember lemons are acidic.


Grout looking dingy?

Use lemon juice and a grout brush or old toothbrush. Pour on brush scrub grout let sit for a few minutes and let the acidity work. If you want to add extra scrubbing use some baking soda. Rinse the grout for a Sparking Clean look.

Microwave looking well used and having some odors come from it?

Place a cup of water with some lemon juice in the microwave. Heat to boiling leave alone for 10 minutes at least. Then just wipe out with clean cloth. Microwave will be Sparkling Clean and odors will be gone.

BBQ grill and grates have build up?

Mix lemon juice and salt together using a sponge scrub on built up areas wipe clean for a Sparkling Clean BBQ

Dishes feel greasy or unclean?

Lemon juice is a boosting degreaser just add a few drops to dish soap.


Garbage disposal have a bad smell or needs refreshing?

Mix hot water and lemon juice pour down drain. Putting small pieces of lemon rind in garbage disposal and turning on will leave a refreshing smell

Need a degreaser?

Add a few drops of lemon juice to your dish soap to boost degreasing ability.

Weird smells coming from fridge?

Put a cut lemon on a plate set in fridge for a week. Change weekly too keep it fresh smelling.

Mirrors and windows need cleaned?

Put water and a few tablespoons of lemon juice in spray bottle. Spray on mirror or window wipe clean leaving them Sparkling Clean.


Wanting softer skin?

Make scrub of sugar and lemon juice. About 4 tablespoons sugar to one juiced lemon.

You can cut a lemon in half dip in sugar and use to scrub dry skin away.
